Baden-Württemberg stands not only for technological innovations, renowned companies and excellent research. Our region also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights. Baden-Württemberg delicacies such as Käsespätzle (cheese noodles), Maultaschen (Swabian raviolis) and Black Forest gateau (cherry chocolate sponge cake) are world-famous and enjoy great popularity at home and abroad. But also Schupfnudeln (thick potato noodles), Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions) or Gaisburger Marsch (beef stew) distinguish our cuisine.
Visitors can of course also enjoy some of our specialties at the Baden-Württemberg House. The LIONS restaurant team led by restaurant manager Robin Seyfferle serves not only refined dishes from Baden-Württemberg adapted to the warm climate, but also beer from Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus, wines from the region, non-alcoholic proseccos from Jörg Geiger as well as coffee and tea from Seeberger in Ulm. BETTER TASTE LIONS LOUNGE will also spoil you with freshly prepared meals and refreshing drinks from Baden-Württemberg. And if you want to see yourself how our traditional dishes are cooked, you can watch the preparation of hand-scraped spaetzle and homemade Maultaschen at the cold-air lake or on our terrace and taste them afterwards.
Furthermore, guest chefs from the Master Chefs Association of Baden-Württemberg will be on site every 14 days and authentically represent the Baden and Württemberg top gastronomy.
